About ShoreZella

Ride the next wave

We build and sell practical software, designed to be simple, reliable, and genuinely useful.

Our story

ShoreZella is a small software studio that builds and sells digital tools, WordPress plugins, desktop apps, browser extensions and hosted services, designed to make everyday work faster and smoother for creators, agencies and businesses.

We began as a WordPress plugin company because that is where we could help the most people, fastest, and plugins are still a large part of what we ship. Every tool we ship is checked for quality and security, backed by real human support, and covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. Buy once, and you get a full year of updates.

Our goal is simple: grow into a full family of software that people actually enjoy using. As a WordPress software company and a trusted WordPress plugin developer, we stay friendly by design and serious about quality.

Zella, our mascot

Meet Zella

About ShoreZella, and the penguin behind the brand

Our mascot has a name: Zella. She wears round glasses, works at a laptop, and rides a wave. She is smart, friendly, and quietly competent, the personality of the brand made visible.

Shore is where the ice meets the ocean, the place a penguin actually stands. It gives the brand its coastal identity, and it is the reason the wave appears in our logo. The company is ShoreZella. The mascot is Zella.

THE SHORT VERSION

About ShoreZella, in plain terms

A small studio building the tools it kept wishing existed. Every product starts as a job someone was doing by hand, and it ships when it does that job properly rather than when a roadmap says so.

HOW WE WORK

What to know about ShoreZella

ShoreZella is a small studio rather than a marketplace. Every tool here was written in house, whichever of the four categories it sits in, which is why a support answer comes from the person who wrote the code instead of from a queue.

That shapes what gets built. A tool ships when it does one job properly, and it keeps getting updates for as long as it is on the shelf. Nothing is quietly abandoned.

QUESTIONS

Questions about ShoreZella

A small software studio building WordPress plugins, desktop applications and browser extensions. The common thread is scope: each product does one job, is priced plainly, and is supported by the people who wrote it. Zella, the penguin, is the mascot and the reason for the name.

A small team of developers who have spent years building and maintaining WordPress sites, which is where the list of products came from. Support messages are answered by the same people, so there is no gap between the person who wrote a feature and the person explaining it.

By watching what keeps getting done by hand. If a task is repetitive, well defined and nobody enjoys it, that is a candidate. If it needs a dashboard of its own to explain, it usually is not. Requests through the contact page carry real weight, especially the ones that arrive twice.

The WordPress plugins have free builds on the WordPress plugin directory, complete for the job they describe. Pro adds scale and automation for people running more than one site. Desktop apps and hosted tools are paid only, because there is no equivalent free channel for them.

Distributed, working across time zones, which is part of why replies land quickly regardless of when you write. Company and billing details are on the terms and refund pages rather than buried here.

The newsletter in the footer goes out when something actually ships, not on a schedule, so it stays short. Every release is also written up on the blog with what changed and why.
